It is all in the timing

   Posted by: Michael   in Preparation

Well, I finally have all the planes, trains, buses, and such figured out.

I know where to get the shuttle to get me from CdG airport to Orly airport.  I also know where the train station is in Biarrtiz. It looks like a short walk from the airport. this will get me all the way to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. Then a short walk to the L’Esprit du Chemin.

Things are looking good. Forty days and counting…

Hi Michael,
Enjoy the preparation, cause it lasts more than the actual walking! To me the camino was such a profound experience, the greatest of my life. Hope yours is very special too!

Thank you Lillian,
I hope that the camino is more than just a walk for me as it was for you. I try not to hope for too much; but I think that everyone who walks the camino is looking for something.
Cheers!

That is the best way to have a wonderful camino, not having any expectations about it. Just to be with childlike open eyes and open mind. To be in a constant state of discovery: of surroundings and self. Whatever is there for you, will come out, and if it doesn’t, that is also OK!

Cheers!
